Services Offered: New Connections to Work is a comprehensive training and employment program, which provides student support services and preparation for increased access to technical colleges and employment. This program eliminates barriers to opportunity and promotes economic self-sufficiency for single parents, displaced homemakers, single pregnant women, and TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) recipients. The goal of the New Connections to Work Program is to provide training and to move persons from welfare recipients status to successful employment.
