Services Offered: Non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support. groceries are sold in units of a medium-sized box at $25 each. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $50. Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at a grocery store. There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads and no produce that is almost too ripe. there is no limit to the number of units an individual can purchase, and there are no applications to complete or qualifications to which participants must adhere. Angel Food Ministries participates in the U.S. Food Stamp program.

Services Offered: Show God's love to those in our community who are in need. The goal is to help them through difficult times by providing food, clothing, and assistance.

Services Offered: Case Management Program to assist low income and elderly persons and families through the Community Services Block Grant Program through collaborative efforts, assistance can be provided in obtaining Social Security, Medicare, Health Care, Public Assistance, Food Stamps, and Emergency Assistance. The staff can also assist families in locating affordable housing. Employment and training assistance through a Job Search Program is also provided to individuals. Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program. CAFI Head Start serving 3 to 5 year old children.

Services Offered: Emergency housing for women and children who are victims of domestic violence or homeless, counseling, wrap around services.  Support group meets evenings and Mondays at 10am.  Individual counseling is free and set by appointment.

Services Offered: Maternity services, free pregnancy testing, counseling for pregnancy, teen pregnancy program, adoption referral services, education programs, sex education, nutrition, parenting classes, limited ultra sound when medically indicated, maternity clothing, baby items.

Services Offered: Investigates child abuse; finds foster homes for abused and neglected children; helps low income, out-of-work parents get back on their feet; assists with childcare costs for low income parents who are working or in job training; and provides numerous support services and innovative programs to help troubled families.

Services Offered: Feed the Hungry Project has been Helping One Family, One Meal at a Time since 1977. Every week volunteers deliver boxes of food helping those in time of need and spreading the word of God at the same time. Those in need in Coweta County can call for assistance Monday through Thursdays for food delivery on Saturday (except for Holiday weekends).

Services Offered: Referrals are taken from local law enforcement agencies, Department of Family and Children Services, County Health Departments, and other Human Services related organizations. Each food box contains items such as cereal, canned goods, soups and other types of food products that we have in our inventory. Each box packed contains the same amount and same type product with the total pounds being received per family per visit being approximately 75 pounds. All families are required to complete an application showing principal address, number in household and ages, proof of income, proof of residence, and identification, eg. Social Security Card, Drivers License, Medicaid Card, etc. This information is required for every member in household. Infant Crisis Program--families with infants and small children receive the necessary supplies they need to care for their children.

Services Offered: (store) Provides families with used clothing in good condition at a reasonable price; helps employ individuals and provide job training.

Services Offered: Delivery of lunch time meals to the elderly.  Delivered within Newnan city limits only.  Donations accepted.

Services Offered: Assistance with food, clothing, household items and financial assistance.

Services Offered: Food delivery service offering wholesome convenient frozen meals directly to the home. Cash, checks, major credit cards and electronic food stamps cards are accepted. Catalog for the visually impaired is available.

Services Offered: Programs available to clients 60 years and older.  Home delivered meals, planned activities daily, exercise programs, transportation assistance, blood pressure checks, and computer access with internet services.

Services Offered: This is a special nutrition program for low-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women and children up to age five. Participants who are eligible receive vouchers to redeem at approved grocery stores and pharmacies for special foods rich in protein, iron, calcium and vitamins A and C. Georgia has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the nation. Good nutrition and regular prenatal care during pregnancy, and good nutrition and preventive health care for infants are keys to prevent babies from dying or becoming disabled. The following requirements must be met:

*Be a resident of Georgia or migrant farm worker currently living in Georgia.
*Be at nutritional risk such as anemic, low birth weight, abnormal weight gain during pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, or inadequate diet.
*Have a family income of no more than 185 percent of the federal poverty level.
*A person receiving Medicaid, TANF, or Food Stamps automatically meets the income eligibility requirements.
