Services Offered: ACS is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service. It provides assistance to individuals with diagnosed cancer whose physician approves treatment and service. Services include assistance with transportation to treatment and purchase of pain medication and supplies for cancer patients. Educational materials are available. Relay for Life is an annual fund raising event to raise money for services provided to and raise the awareness of the work of ACS.

Services Offered: Angel Flight of Georgia, Inc. a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a group of pilots and non-pilot volunteers that have been dedicated to providing free air transportation to and from treatment facilities for those with medical needs who are financially distressed or unable to travel on public transportation. Missions include routine treatment flights, compassionate care, and others referred to us by healthcare providers. We work with an independent network of volunteer pilot organizations to ensure travel across the United States.

Services Offered: Georgia Medicaid provides non-emergency transportation (NET) to Medicaid Recipients who need medical services and have no other means of transport. NET services must be requested three (3) work days before a routine medical appointment.

Services Offered: A nonprofit organization of 40 volunteers who provide an airway ambulance service for sick or injured patients who require air travel within a 1000 mile radius of the Griffin/Spalding area.

Services Offered: Meals on Wheels, planned daily activities, blood pressure checks, transportation to appointments, internet access.

Services Offered: Non-emergency transportation service, ambulatory or wheelchair; airport shuttle service, doctors appointments.

Services Offered: Subsidized and low rent housing available, community programs in partnership with local agencies, transportation assistance for residents to medical and employment appointments, family self sufficiency programs, social services referrals.

Services Offered: Programs available to clients 60 years and older.  Home delivered meals, planned activities daily, exercise programs, transportation assistance, blood pressure checks, and computer access with internet services.

Services Offered: Provides a wide range of services to help individuals with disabilities prepare for meaningful work: Counseling and Guidance, Training, College and University Instruction, On-the-Job Training, Vocational and Technical Training, Supported Employment, School to Work Transition, Job Coaching, Physical and Mental Restoration Services, Assistive Technology, Referral to Other Agencies As Needed. Also provides assistance to employers: Accessibility Assessments, Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Consultations, Disability Awareness Training, Job Analysis, Job Accommodation/Modification, Pre-screened/Qualified Applicants, Assistive Work Technology, Support Services.
